Auggie’s Revenge (Beating Windward Press) is his second novel. His numerous short stories include “Frade Killed Ellen” (Dutch Kills Press), “Bombing from Above” (Heavy Feather Review), and “A Thanksgiving” (Eclectica Magazine).

Xi'an, China
We're back from Xi'an, China, where at the beginning of a two-month stay I posted these first impressions. One of Xi'an's most famous landmarks is the Da Yan Pagoda (Wild Goose Pagoda):
