"It starts me wondering of how diluted I am as a human being. Friends thinned to a select few. Piles of unread texts, ignored until they stopped coming. Barely caring. Barely noticing at all. Everything of consequence, scheduled for tomorrow, to-morrow, tomorrow. Brushing aside a piece of time under carpets of weed smoke and sloth in a habitual servitude to numbness. Avoiding all conflict until I can no longer recognize what it is I actually want. Until it seems impossible to calculate how much left of me is real."
