Use what happens in your day jobs as material for your writing, especially if it’s a weird day job and if it drives you crazy. Alex Kudera’s award-winning novel, Fight for Your Long Day (Atticus Books), was drafted in a walk-in closet during a summer in Seoul, South Korea.
